Katie Paquin of Penobscot Maine and John Dyer of Unintentional Music in Blue Hill announce the Release of Katie's debut CD "SHAMEFUL WORLD" Over a year and a half in the making, its long awaited arrival has finally materialized. The CD appears on its own independent label "Noelani Records" a company started by Katie and her father William Paquin in early 2007.

Katie' vocals and piano compositions are completely original boasting fourteen expertly finished tracks who's content owe their dynamic resonance and emotional exaltation to both artist and engineer alike.

Katie Paquin brings new meaning to lyrical content . Her poetic skill is brought forth through her metaphorical mastery and allegorical artistry, combining music and poetry into a form all her own. Moving
and stirring as well as "hauntingly beautiful" her songs tear at the emotions in a way only a new world voice may invoke.

The incredible production expertise of John Dyer and the talents of several notable area musicians are reflected in subtle nuances and dynamic orchestration throughout the entire CD. John accomplishes all this without ever overshadowing any of Katie's original works. Katie's seemingly young age should not be discounted, as this is truly a work of excellence, that any artist regardless of age and genre, would have to be proud of.

In Katie's own words "Music has always been one of my passions. I love the idea of being able to create something that is totally original and individual. "Shameful World" is a completely original work of poetry, lyrics, and music aimed to evoke emotion. 	FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Katie Paquin of Penobscot Maine premiers her new album “Shameful World” at a special CD release party Saturday May 10th, 2 to 4 PM in Blue Hill at the Barn Castle Hotel and Restaurant, 125 South Street . All ages are invited. Mike Lugin the drummer from Katie’s band will be joining her, as well as the album’s producer John Dyer of Unintentional Music in Blue Hill. Songs from Katie’s CD will be performed along with several original new songs, expected to be released on her second album next year. This is the Katie’s first live performance in quite awhile. It’s bound to be a lot of fun. So make sure you don‘t miss this rare opportunity to see her and her band perform. Katie will also be available after the performance to sign copies of her CD . So, Mark Your Calendar for Katie Paquin’s CD release party, May 10th 2 to 4 PM Rain or Shine at the Barn Castle Hotel & Restaurant in Blue Hill. Admission is FREE, So Hope to see you all there .
